SNOW DAY!!
Snow Days are definitely an everyday blessing in disguise. It's so hard on working parents...you need to figure out what to do with your kids, or take off work and possibly lose money plus get behind at work. But really, let's just face it, we're also being forced to slow down, stay inside, spend time with the kids, and maybe even get caught up on a few projects. Who doesn't love a Snow Day!?!?! Do you remember the feeling the night before hoping that school is cancelled and then the pure excitement that runs through your body when you wake up the next morning to find out that there's NO SCHOOL! It's even more exciting now that Kyle & Hannah are 7 & 10, plus we live close enough to kids their age that too much snow can't even stop them from having fun! When they were younger we would go outside for maybe 30 minutes before they were too cold & tired of it. Now, I need to call them to come in for lunch & to warm up every few hours. I love watching them grow up! Thank you God for children, Snow Days, and for giving kids these special days to have no worries or concerns other than playing!!
