The kids were off school on Friday for Parent-Teacher Conferences & we decided to take a little road trip to the City Museum (it's an hour from our house, so that gets classified as a road trip to me). Kyle & Hannah each got to bring a friend and they all had a great time! The weather was nice, so the outside play structure was open. If you have never been there before, this is not your typical museum. It is a building that has been totally redone by artists. It is filled with every type of creative medium you could imagine~~sculpture, painting, metal arts. Not only is it beautiful to see, but it is interactive! Inside the building is three levels, with a crawling area IN THE CEILING, caves that the kids can crawl through, a skatepark which includes a maze, a three-story slide, and MORE. Outside is an incredible metal structure that goes three stories high that the kids can crawl through. It includes two airplanes, tons of slides, and MORE. It's too much to try to describe but if you're ever in St. Louis, you definitely want to visit it! Here's just a few pics of all the fun that was had...
